I worked on my butterfly; way too cool!

next for quilting...then I will get back to the Butterflyabstract!

the top is my current plan, wings and parts of wings, symbolic I guess, since I'm stretching out of the box, to create not just another butterfly, but not a good scan.

the second is truer colors and clearer pictures of the parts that will be collaged...

also the orientation is 90* different.

MAQF 2009

Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival was a blast!
I didn't take classes for the first time, but was really inspired by the quilts.

A camelia blooming on the bush that had the funky icicles last month!
